"Eat, Nap, Play" Giveaway!

"Eat, Nap, Play: How to Get Even More Out of Your Child's Day for Less" by Robyn Spizman and Evelyn Sacks is a great resource! It reminds you of the importance of spending time with your children without unnecessarily spending money! This book is written by two moms, for moms with children of all ages!

Chapters Include:
*Spend More Time and Less Money
*Mommy, Daddy, and Me - Family Activities
*Mommy, I'm (Still!) Bored
*Fabulous Food and Kitchen Fun!
*Swap, Shop, Barter, Share
*The Party Circuit - Simpler, Sweeter, Cheaper
*Low-Cost to No-Cost Gifts
*Super School Savings
*From Wii to We - Techno Kids, Tweens, and Teens
*Resources and Freesources

Since reading the book I decided to implement something new at dinner time. We go around the table and say our favorite thing about the day and our least favorite thing about the day. Simple, free! B remembers to start the questions before we do and loves to share. He always says "Let's do it again!". =) Also, I 've made a mental note to try to do something spontaneous and fun once a day (ex: splash in puddles when it's raining, have a race, read 2 books instead of 1 before nap, etc.). It usually takes less than 10 minutes and it's a nice change of pace!

This book looks great! We call our dinner time conversation one good, one bad- if nothing bad happened in the day- we share two good! Great way to connect and find our more about the kids' day.
